Thanks to our kind donors, Lee, who attends Sinergia’s Day Habilitation, was able to enjoy a “Weekend Adventure” in the Catskill Mountains.  The trip was organized by our friends at Sprout and featured a visit to the Forsyth Nature Center. Lee, who got to hand-feed the animals there, said, “It was a good place. Sinergia, Inc. is excited to announce it's participation in #GivingTuesday! Over the next week, we will share examples of how generous supporters have helped us to create new opportunities for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Today, we bring you memories of this year's Dinner Dance, a highly anticipated evening of dining and dancing! An initial investment in the 2015 Dinner Dance helped us produce this fantastic event, but the giving didn't stop there. By purchasing tickets to the Dinner Dance, our donors sent six very grateful individuals on vacation! More on those stories next week...  

Dear Friends of Sinergia Inc.,  Sinergia's mission is to enhance the wellbeing of individuals and families through the human delivery system(s) with particular concentration on those special populations that traditionally have experienced difficulty in accessing human services. We are pleased to announce Sinergia’s first annual Spring Dinner Dance Fundraiser. Come join us on May 29, 2015, Trinity Cathedral Ballroom, as we celebrate over three decades of serving families and individuals with developmental disabilities throughout New York City. We are writing on behalf of the individual we serve to request your support in one or more of the following ways:

 This past July, we were ecstatic to partner with Surf For All, great organization of volunteers who believe that the ocean should be accessible to everyone! Participants from our Residential, Day Hab, and Parent Center programs were able to attend this trip and learn to hang ten. Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to offer van transportation and purchase meals for this all day trip. Join our donors in sponsoring events like this on #GivingTuesday!
