Does your child have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)? This workshop will help you understand every part of the IEP so you can feel confident, informed, and empowered to advocate for you and your child.
This in-person hands-on workshop will be offered on two dates: November 24th (Spanish) and December 16th (English). The objective is for you to fully understand every part of your child’s IEP so you can feel confident, informed, and empowered to advocate for you and your child.
Parents are required to bring a current copy of their child’s IEP. You can email a digital copy in advance to mpc@sinergiany.org and we will print it for you.
The presenter will guide the group through each section of the IEP. Participants may submit questions in advance by emailing mpc@sinergiany.org. A brief Q&A session will follow the workshop; individual case-specific questions cannot be addressed during class.
Round trip metro cards can be provided to attendants. A light breakfast will be provided.
