Registration is now open for our Advocacy for Parents Providing Leadership in Education, “APPLE Academy”, this is a set of advocacy activities and trainings over 6 courses designed to increase the capacity of family, caregivers, and people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) to become advocacy leaders and engage in civic activities. Participants will develop skills so that parents can advocate on their own behalf with the ultimate goal of being able to advocate on behalf of other parents.
The Summer 2025 session will be held on select Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., facilitated via Zoom and conducted exclusively in English. To register, please contact the intake department at 212-643-2840, Ext. 602, between Monday and Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
