As children approach the age of five, parents have to think in terms of the transition from preschool to kindergarten (CPSE to CSE). Entering kindergarten will be a new experience and may require adjustments on your child’s part. Kindergarten is a big step in any child’s life, for a child with disabilities, being ready for that step often requires planning.
Transition planning will help you and your child navigate the move to kindergarten more easily and successfully.
