This program provides educational advocacy to help families of children from birth to age 26 who are experiencing problems in navigating the educational system and obtaining transition services in order that their children may receive a free and appropriate education. Families will receive assistance during transition and due process procedures. They will also receive information on all training and parent support groups available through the Metropolitan Parent Center and other resources. Only families residing in Manhattan are eligible for this program. All other families may contact the Metropolitan Parent Center.
