Sinergia's mission is to enhance the wellbeing of individuals and families through the human delivery system(s) with particular concentration on those special populations that traditionally have experienced difficulty in accessing human services. We are pleased to announce Sinergia’s first annual Spring Dinner Dance Fundraiser. Come join us on May 29, 2015, Trinity Cathedral Ballroom, as we celebrate over three decades of serving families and individuals with developmental disabilities throughout New York City.
We are writing on behalf of the individual we serve to request your support in one or more of the following ways:
- Purchase a ticket to the event
- Underwrite the cost of a residents’ ticket
- Donate merchandise or a gift certificate for the auction or raffle
- Purchase an ad in our event journal
- Underwrite all or a portion of the food, beverage or flowers for the evening
The success of the event depends on your generous donations.
Your tax deductible financial contribution will help us to have a spectacular event that will be affordable for the individuals we serve and their families. The proceeds from this event will support this years "Weekend Adventures in Nature," Sinergia's summer programming for people with Developmental Disabilities. Remember, no gift is too small!
Unlike a traditional fundraiser, this event will be mainly attended by residents in our community residences and participants in our day program. Typically, events are attended by donors, executive staff and a few participants. This event is planned with our participants, and highlights our commitment to community inclusion. Rather than a donor-focused event, we are inviting those who support us to be a guest to a party with our residents/participants (and they like to party!).
Sinergia’s Spring Dinner Dance is also a great opportunity to learn more about Sinergia, what we do, and how you and your community and networks can get involved. As you invite others to join us, we look forward to meeting you and your guest(s) at this memorable event.
